In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FMCSA announces its plan to submit the Information Collection Request (ICR) described below to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for its renewal and invites public comment. This ICR is to collect data on the delays, by State, that applicants face when scheduling a CDL skills test. This information collection and subsequent data analysis is required by section 5506 of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act, 2015 (FAST Act). FMCSA reported the results of the initial ICR request in a report to congress titled ``The Commercial Driver's License Skills Test Delays Report to CongressCY 2016'' available on FMCSA's web page located here: https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/mission/ policy/commercial-drivers-license-skills-test-delays-report-c ongress- cy-2016.
