In accordance with the procedures governing the application for, and the processing of, special permits from the Department of Transportation's Hazardous Material Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Office of Hazardous Materials Safety has received the application described herein. Each mode of transportation for which a particular special permit is requested is indicated by a number in the ``Nature of Application'' portion of the table below as follows: 1 Motor vehicle, 2Rail freight, 3Cargo vessel, 4Cargo aircraft only, 5Passenger-carrying aircraft.

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of information was published on April 23, 2020. The collection involves a lienholder returning an AC Form 8050-41, Notice of RecordationAircraft Security Conveyance with Part IIRelease completed to the Civil Aviation Registry, Aircraft Registration Branch (Registry), to release a recorded lien. This information is necessary to show satisfaction of a recorded lien.
Request for Information: Impaired Driving Technologies
This notice requests information from interested parties to help inform the agency on available or late stage technology under development for impaired driving detection and mitigation. It also fulfills the Joint Explanatory Statement accompanying the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020, Public Law 116-94 (2020), which directs NHTSA to facilitate the sharing of information and the implementation and integration of impaired driving technology across the automotive industry.
