This rule amends regulations that provide civil penalties for misuse of Department of the Treasury names, symbols, etc. to implement the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990, as amended by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015. In particular, this rule adjusts for inflation the maximum amount of the civil monetary penalties that may be assessed under its regulations, and updates the inflation adjustments through 2018 in accordance with instructions from the Office of Management and Budget. In addition, the regulation is amended to reflect changes in Treasury organizational structure.

The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is: (1) Providing notice of the sectoral determination by the Secretary of the Treasury pursuant to Executive Order 13850 (``Blocking Property of Additional Persons Contributing to the Situation in Venezuela'') (E.O. 13850); and (2) publishing the names of one or more persons that have been placed on OFAC's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List based on OFAC's determination that one or more applicable legal criteria were satisfied. All property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction of these persons are blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with them.

Currently, the OCC is soliciting comment concerning the renewal of its information collection titled ``Annual Stress Test Rule.'' The OCC also is giving notice that it has sent the collection to OMB for review.
