2011-2012 Refuge-Specific Hunting and Sport Fishing Regulations; Correction
We, the Fish and Wildlife Service, published a final rule in the Federal Register on September 9, 2011, revising our regulations concerning hunting and sport fishing programs at national wildlife refuges. Inadvertently we made some errors in our amendatory instructions. With this technical correction, we correct those errors.
Notice of Intent To Announce a Proposed Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Chokecherry and Sierra Madre Wind Energy Project, Announce a Proposed EIS To Amend Rawlins Resource Management Plan, and Announce a Public Comment Period and Public Meetings for Obtaining Comments
Pursuant to Section 102(2)(C) of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, an EIS will be prepared by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Rawlins Field Office, Wyoming, for the Chokecherry and Sierra Madre Wind Energy Project in Carbon County, Wyoming. The EIS will analyze the impacts of issuing rights-of-way for a wind energy project and ancillary facilities (consisting of access roads, electric power gathering cables, an electric transmission line, and electric substations).
Notice of Realty Action; Modified Competitive Sale of Public Lands in Sweetwater County, Wyoming
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposes to sell 40 acres of public lands near Wamsutter, Wyoming, Sweetwater County, to the Town of Wamsutter for current and future affordable housing purposes. These lands consist of one parcel totaling 40.00 acres more or less, which has been identified for disposal in the Great Divide Resource Management Plan, dated November 9, 1990. The sale will be conducted using modified competitive bidding procedures in accordance with and under the applicable provisions of sections 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA) (43 U.S.C. 1713), its implementing regulations, and in accordance with 43 CFR 2711.3-2, BLM land sale regulations at 43 CFR Part 2710 and the Federal Land Transaction Facilitation Act of 2000, Public Law 106-248, July 25, 2000.
Notice of Realty Action; Modified Competitive Sale of Public Lands in Clark County, NV, N-79694
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposes to sell public lands within the City of North Las Vegas in Clark County, Nevada. These lands, consisting of 20.42 acres more or less (10.42 acres considered developable) have been authorized for disposal under the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act of 1998 (112 Stat. 2343), as amended by the Clark County Conservation of Public Land and Natural Resources Act of 2002 (116 Stat. 1994) (hereinafter ``SNPLMA''). The land will be offered for sale utilizing modified competitive bidding procedures in accordance with the applicable provisions of Sections 203 and 209 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA) (43 U.S.C. 1713 and 1719), respectively, its implementing regulations, and in accordance with 43 CFR 2711.3-2, and BLM land sale and mineral conveyance regulations at 43 CFR Parts 2710 and 2720.
