The Peabody Museum of Natural History, in consultation with the appropriate Indian tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations, has determined that the cultural items listed in this notice meet the definition of unassociated funerary objects, sacred objects, and/or objects of cultural patrimony. Lineal descendants or representatives of any Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian organization not identified in this notice that wish to claim these cultural items should submit a written request to the Peabody Museum of Natural History. If no additional claimants come forward, transfer of control of the cultural items to the lineal descendants, Indian tribes, or Native Hawaiian organizations stated in this notice may proceed.

The National Park Service intends to award two temporary concession contracts to a qualified person for the conduct of certain visitor services within Acadia National Park for a term not to exceed 3 years. The visitor services include guided bus tours.

The National Park Service hereby gives public notice that it proposes to extend the expiring concession contracts listed below for the period specified, or until the effective date of a new contract, whichever occurs sooner.

The Lake County Discovery Museum has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary object, in consultation with the appropriate Indian tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations, and has determined that there is no cultural affiliation between the human remains and associated funerary objects and any present-day Indian tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. Representatives of any Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian organization not identified in this notice that wish to request transfer of control of these human remains and associated funerary objects should submit a written request to the Lake County Discovery Museum. If no additional requestors come forward, transfer of control of the human remains and associated funerary objects Indian tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations stated in this notice may proceed.

Public notice is hereby given that the National Park Service proposes to award a sole-source concession contract for the conduct of certain visitor services within Lake Mead National Recreation Area (Lake Mead NRA) for a term not to exceed five (5) years. The visitor services include the provision of wireless Internet access within remote but developed areas of Lake Mead NRA.

The National Park Service (NPS) has prepared and approved a Record of Decision (ROD) for the Nonfederal Oil and Gas Regulations (36 CFR part 9, subpart B) Revisions. Approval of this Record of Decision completes the National Environmental Policy Act process.
