Notice of Availability for the Signal Peak Energy, LLC, Federal Coal Lease Application; Environmental Assessment and Notice of Public Hearing
In accordance with Federal coal management regulations, the Signal Peak Energy Coal Lease by Application Environmental Assessment (EA) is available for public review and comment. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will hold a public hearing to receive comments on the EA and associated Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), as well as the Fair Market Value (FMV), and Maximum Economic Recovery (MER) of the coal resources for Signal Peak Energy's Federal Coal Lease Application MTM 97988.
Renewal of Approved Information Collection, OMB Control Number 1004-0119
In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces its intention to request that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) renew OMB Control Number 1004-0119 for the paperwork requirements in 43 CFR part 2930, which pertain to permits for recreation on public lands. The BLM is also proposing to revise Form 2930-1 (Special Recreation Application and Permit) to be used only as Special Recreation Application. OMB approval of the new Special Recreation Permit would not be required, since it would be completed by the BLM.
Renewal of Approved Information Collection
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has submitted an information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for a 3-year renewal of OMB Control Number 1004-0073 under the Paperwork Reduction Act. This control number covers paperwork requirements in 43 CFR parts 3400 through 3480, which cover management of Federal coal resources.

Meeting of the California Desert District Advisory Council
