This order withdraws 360 acres of public land from surface entry and mining for a period of 20 years to protect Yermo xanthocephalus (Desert yellowhead) plant habitat.
Notice of Realty Action: Termination of Classification
This notice terminates in part the existing classification for 102.91 acres of public land that was classified as suitable for lease and conveyance under the Recreation and Public Purposes Act, as amended (43 U.S.C. 869 et seq.). The termination will allow the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to offer a 6.5-acre parcel for sale under Section 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA) (43 U.S.C. 1701 and 1713), as amended. Termination of the classification in part is consistent with BLM policies and the BLM Colorado Northeast Resource Management Plan, dated September 16, 1986, and has been reviewed with local officials.
Notice to the Public of Emergency Closure of Public Lands, Douglas County, NV
Certain public lands located in the Pine Nut Mountain range of Douglas County, Nevada, will be temporarily closed to motorized vehicles. An emergency closure is necessary to prevent further adverse effects to paleontological resources in the Ruhenstroth paleontological area where resource damage is occurring. The potential for additional adverse effects as a result of unrestricted off-highway vehicle use within the area is substantial and significant. Major roads in the area will remain open.
Notice of Realty Action: Direct (Non-Competitive) Sale of Public Lands, Nye County, NV

Notice of Order Closing Public Lands to Motorized Use, Gunnison and Saguache Counties, CO
To protect fragile, wintering mule deer, bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope, and elk herds, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is closing to motorized use this winter, certain public lands in the Gunnison Basin. This action is in coordination with the Colorado Division of Wildlife's emergency winter feeding program for big game herds in the Gunnison Basin. The BLM and CDOW have cooperatively identified winter feeding areas and procedures, as well as area closures in conjunction with the feeding program. Extreme snow depths, combined with extreme cold temperatures, have prompted the closure and emergency feeding decisions.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has submitted the proposed collection of information listed below to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.). Extension of Approval Information Collection, OMB Control Number 1004-0169
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) plans to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to extend an existing approval to collect information from mining claimants concerning use and occupancy of mining claims on public lands. The nonform information under 43 CFR subpart 3715 authorizes the BLM to manage the use and occupancy of public lands for developing the mineral deposits by mining claimants.

Notice of Realty Action; Modified Competitive Sale of Public Lands in Sweetwater County, Wyoming
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposes to sell 40 acres of public lands near Wamsutter, Wyoming, Sweetwater County, to the Town of Wamsutter for current and future affordable housing purposes. These lands consist of one parcel totaling 40.00 acres more or less, which has been identified for disposal in the Great Divide Resource Management Plan, dated November 9, 1990. Notice of Realty Action; Direct and Competitive Sales of Public Land, Idaho and Proposed Plan Amendment

The Department of the Interior proposes to extend the duration of Public Land Order (PLO) No. 6674 for an additional 20-year term. PLO No. 6674 withdrew 320 acres of public lands in Fergus County, Montana, from settlement, sale, location, or entry under the general land laws, including the United States mining laws to protect the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Blacktail Creek Paleontological Site. Notice of Emergency Closure of Certain Public Lands to Motorized Vehicles in Twin Falls and Owyhee Counties, ID and Elko County, NV, Under Murphy Complex Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation Plan
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Jarbidge Field Office is implementing an emergency closure in order to protect cultural and natural resources and stabilization treatments as recommended in the Department of the Interior's Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation Plan for the Murphy Complex Fire. The closure allows motorized vehicle traffic (e.g. All-Terrain Vehicles, pickups, motorcycles, sport utility vehicles, etc.) on established roads within the fire perimeter, legal boundaries and transportation routes (please refer to supplementary information for description of closure area). The purpose of the closure is to restrict off-road vehicle use while providing continued public access to and through the area. Vehicles traveling cross-country in a burned area may damage reemerging plants, increase erosion and spread noxious weeds. Closure signs will be posted at main entry points to this area. Maps of the closure area may be obtained at the address listed below.
