A single 6.54-acre parcel of Federal public land near Ward, in Boulder County, Colorado, has been examined and found suitable for sale using the competitive sale procedures of Title 43 Code of Federal Regulations, Sub Part 2711. The authority for the sale is Section 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA) (43 U.S.C. 1701 and 1713).
Alaska Native Claims Selection
As required by 43 CFR 2650.7(d), notice is hereby given that the decision approving lands for conveyance to The Port Graham Corporation, notice of which was published in the Federal Register on June 26, 2007, is modified by identifying the location of the aid to navigation in Easement Identification Number (EIN) No. 104 J as Tract A, U.S. Survey No. 1630, Alaska. Notice of the modified decision will also be published four times in the Homer Tribune.
Proposed Plan Amendment
Notice is hereby given that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposes to amend the 1988 Pocatello Resource Management Plan (RMP) pursuant to the regulations at 43 CFR Part 1600, with respect to management of 400 acres of Federal land in Bannock County, Idaho. Upon publication of this notice in the Federal Register, the lands will be segregated from all other forms of appropriation under the public land laws, including the general mining laws, except for conveyance under the Recreation and Public Purposes Act and leasing under the mineral leasing laws. Interested parties may submit written comments and recommendations regarding the land use plan amendment. Before including your address, phone number, e-mail address, or other personal identifying information in your comment, you should be aware that your entire commentincluding your personal identifying informationmay be made publicly available at any time. While you can ask us in your comment to withhold your personal identifying information from public review, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so. Comments: Interested parties may submit comments as to whether the land is physically suited for landfill purposes, whether the use will maximize the future use or uses of the land, whether the land use is consistent with local planning and zoning, or if the use is consistent with State and Federal programs.
Notice of Realty Action: Recreation and Public Purposes Act Classification of Public Lands in Clark County, NV
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has examined and found suitable for classification for lease or subsequent conveyance under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act, as amended, approximately 37.5 acres of public land in five individual parcels in Clark County, Nevada. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA, 42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq.) the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Wyoming State Office, has prepared a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Overland Pass Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline Project. The FEIS analyzes the environmental consequences of a proposed 760-mile long, 14-inch and 16-inch diameter natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline on Federal, State, and private land.

Notice of Applications for Recordable Disclaimers of Interest for Lands Underlying Little Scottie Creek and Scottie Creek in Alaska
The State of Alaska (State) has filed applications for Recordable Disclaimers of Interest from the United States in those lands underlying Little Scottie Creek and Scottie Creek, located in the Tanana River region in Interior, Alaska. The State asserts that Scottie Creek and Little Scottie Creek were navigable and unreserved at the time of statehood; therefore, title to the submerged lands passed to the State at the time of statehood (1959). A portion of these lands are within the Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge, administered by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.
Notice of Application for a Recordable Disclaimer of Interest for Lands Underlying the Stikine River in Alaska
The State of Alaska (State) has filed an application for a Recordable Disclaimer of Interest from the United States in those lands underlying the Stikine River, located in Southeast Alaska. The State asserts that the Stikine River was navigable and unreserved at the time of statehood; therefore, title to the submerged lands passed to the State at the time of statehood (1959). The lands included in the application are within the exterior boundary of the Tongass National Forest, created by Presidential Proclamation of February 16, 1909, and administered by the U.S. Forest Service in the Department of Agriculture.

Notice of Realty Action: Competitive Sale of Public Lands in Clark County, NV
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposes to offer for sale by public auction 31 parcels of Federal public land totaling approximately 167.5 acres in the Las Vegas Valley, Nevada. The sale will be conducted under the authority of the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act of 1998 (SNPLMA), 112 Stat. 2343, as amended. Notice of Realty Action-Recreation and Public Purpose (R&PP) Act Classification, New Mexico
The following described public land is determined suitable for classification for leasing and subsequent conveyance to the Aztec Municipal School District 2, Aztec, New Mexico under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act, as amended (43 U.S.C. 869 et seq.). The Aztec Municipal School district 2 proposes to use the land for recreational facilities with soccer fields, softball field, restrooms, a changing room and a concession stand and a parking lot and an access road. In the future, another softball field and a baseball field may be added to serve the local children of the area. The identified lands are surrounded on three sides by private land and have a high potential for further residential development.
Notice of Proposed Withdrawal Extension and Opportunity for Public Meeting; Alaska
On behalf of the U.S. Department of Air Force, the Bureau of Land Management proposes to extend the duration of Public Land Order (PLO) No. 6677 for an additional 20-year term. This order withdrew 2.5 acres of public land from settlement, sale, location, or entry under the general land laws, including the United States mining laws [30 U.S.C. Ch. 2] and from leasing under the mineral leasing laws, to protect a United States Air Force radio relay site. This notice also gives an opportunity to comment on the proposed action and to request a public meeting.

Notice of Emergency Closure of Public Lands in Tulare County, CA
Notice is hereby given that approximately 560 acres of public lands have been temporarily closed to all public use. This closure is made under the authority of 43 CFR 8364.1 Closure and Restriction Orders. The closed area is in the vicinity of Kaweah, California in Tulare County and is within sections 13, 23, 24, and 26 T. 16S.R.28E. Mount Diablo Baseline and Meridian. All entry will be restricted during this emergency closure to protect persons, property, public lands, and natural resources. Closure signs will be posted at main entry points to this area. Gates and fencing will be installed to exclude vehicular entry and parking.

Notice of Intent (NOI) To Amend the Resource Management Plan for the Buffalo Field Office, Wyoming
In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Buffalo Field Office, Wyoming, proposes to amend its 1985 Resource Management Plan (RMP) because of changes in circumstances and proposed actions that may result in changes in the scope of resource uses and/or changes in decisions of the approved plan. The BLM will evaluate the following: (1) Management guidance for the Fortification Creek area, (2) Designation of an Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) in the Fortification Creek area, and (3) a potential land exchange with the State of Wyoming to consolidate ownership and facilitate management of the Fortification Creek area. The BLM may consider further land use planning decisions for the area surrounding the proposed ACEC.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has examined and found suitable for classification for lease and subsequent conveyance under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes Act (R&PP), as amended (43 U.S.C. 869 et seq.), approximately 55.20 acres of public land in San Bernardino County, California. The Needles Unified School District proposes to use the land for a K-8 public school facility to include an elementary school, administrative offices, classrooms, head start program, daycare facility, a cafeteria, playgrounds, athletic fields, ancillary facilities and parking areas. The site has been designed to accommodate a high school within the proposed project boundary for future community needs.
