Notice of Public Meeting, Steens Mountain Advisory Council

As required by 43 CFR 2650.7(d), notice is hereby given that fourteen appealable decisions approving lands for conveyance pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act will be issued to Bering Straits Native Corporation and NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. for lands located in the vicinity of Norton and Kotzebue Sounds, Alaska. Notice of August Resource Advisory Council Meeting To Be Held in Twin Falls District, Idaho
This notice announces the intent to hold a Resource Advisory Council (RAC) meeting in the Twin Falls District of Idaho on Tuesday, August 9, 2005. The meeting will be held in the Conference Room at the Burley BLM Fire Building, 3600 South Overland Avenue, in Burley, Idaho.
Meeting: Resource Advisory Council-Southeast Oregon
The SEORAC will hold a conference call for all members on Monday August 8, 2005 at 10 a.m. Pacific standard time. The conference call is open to the public. Members of the public in the Lakeview area may attend the meeting in person in the Abert Rim Conference Room, Lakeview Interagency Office, 1301 South G Street, Lakeview, Oregon 97630. The meeting topics to be discussed include: Approval of past meeting minutes, an update on off-highway vehicle regulations, new wild horse and burro information, and an update on grazing regulations. There may also be a report concerning stewardship, and an update on the Tri-RAC meeting planned for November 6 to 8, 2005.
Mining Claim and Site Maintenance and Location Fees
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is publishing this notice to advise the mining community that the location fee for newly located mining claims or sites has been restored from $25 to $30 per mining claim or site. In addition, the annual maintenance fee has been restored from $100 to $125 per mining claim or site. BLM reduced the fees on December 8, 2004, as directed by statute. The statute further provided that the fees would return to their formerly increased levels when BLM had met certain conditions. These conditions have now been met and the fees have returned to the levels that are reflected in the regulations found at 43 CFR 3830.21 (2004). Mining claim holders must pay a $30 location fee and a $125 maintenance fee for all mining claims and sites recorded on or after June 30, 2005. In addition, the annual maintenance fee due September 1, 2005, is $125 per mining claim or site, as reflected in the current regulations.

This order revokes a Secretarial Order in its entirety as it affects the remaining 800 acres of National Forest System land withdrawn for the Bureau of Reclamation's Western Slope Survey/Yampa- White Reclamation Project. This order opens the land to such forms of disposition as may by law be authorized on National Forest System land and to mining.
Public Land Order No. 7639; Partial Revocation of Public Land Order No. 1176; CO
This order partially revokes Public Land Order No. 1176 insofar as it affects 99.35 acres of National Forest System land withdrawn for the Forest Service as an administrative site. This action will open the land to such forms of disposition as may by law be authorized on National Forest System land and to mining. The land has been and remains open to mineral leasing.
Public Land Order No. 7638; Partial Revocation of Two Secretarial Orders; Wyoming
This order partially revokes two Secretarial Orders insofar as they affect 240 acres of public lands withdrawn for stock driveway purposes. The lands are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were withdrawn. This action will open the lands to surface entry unless closed by overlapping withdrawals or temporary segregations of record.
Proposed Reinstatement of Terminated Oil and Gas Lease NMNM 009954
