Submission of Agency Information Collection the Office of Management and Budget
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is submitting this information collection to the Office of Management and Budget for reinstatement of the Indian Child Welfare Annual Report form. The information collected will aid the BIA in fulfilling requirements of law. This reinstatement meets the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
Grant Program to Build Tribal Energy Development Capacity
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 authorizes the Secretary to provide assistance to Indian tribes for use in developing and sustaining the managerial and technical capacity needed to develop energy resources on Indian land, and to properly account for resulting energy production and revenues. In furtherance of this goal, the Department of the Interior's Office of Indian Energy and Economic Development is soliciting proposals from tribes and tribal energy resource development organizations. The Department will use a competitive evaluation process to select several proposed projects to receive an award.
