Proposed Information Collection; Program Announcement for the Establishment of DOI Regional Climate Change Response Centers, National Climate Change and Wildlife Science Center
We (the U.S. Geological Survey) will ask the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to approve the information collection (IC) described below. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, and as part of our continuing efforts to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, we invite the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on this IC. We may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to, respond to a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number.
Agency Information Collection Activity
To comply with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), we are notifying the public that we have submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a new information collection request (ICR) for approval of the paperwork requirements for the National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR)-USGS competitive grant program conducted in conjunction with the State Water Resources Research Institutes.

Announcement of National Geospatial Advisory Committee Meeting
The National Geospatial Advisory Committee (NGAC) will meet on December 1-2, 2009 at the Marriott Metro Center Hotel, 775 12th Street, NW., Washington, DC 20005. The meeting will be held in the London Room. The NGAC, which is composed of representatives from governmental, private sector, non-profit, and academic organizations, was established to advise the Chair of the Federal Geographic Data Committee on management of Federal geospatial programs, the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure, and the implementation of Office
