In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces the availability of the draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Dry Creek Trona Mine Project, Sweetwater County, WY.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) owns or has an interest in irrigation projects located on or associated with various Indian reservations throughout the United States. We are required to establish irrigation assessment rates to recover the costs to administer, operate, maintain, and rehabilitate these projects. We are notifying you that we have adjusted the irrigation assessment rates at several of our irrigation projects and facilities to reflect current costs of administration, operation, maintenance, and rehabilitation.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has prepared a proposed resource management plan (RMP) and final environmental impact statement (EIS) for the North Dakota Resource Management Plan Revision and by this notice is announcing the start of a 30-day protest period of the proposed RMP.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is correcting a final rule that appeared in the Federal Register on July 12, 2024. The rule added five species of freshwater turtles to the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife. The preamble included literature citation errors, and the regulatory text included paragraph designation errors. This document corrects those errors.
