Notice of Inventory Completion: Thomas Burke Memorial Washington State Museum, University of Washington, Seattle, WA
The Thomas Burke Memorial Washington State Museum (Burke Museum), University of Washington, has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, in consultation with the appropriate Indian tribes, and has determined that there is a cultural affiliation between the human remains and associated funerary objects and a present-day Indian tribe. Representatives of any Indian tribe that believes itself to be culturally affiliated with the human remains and associated funerary objects may contact the Burke Museum. Repatriation of the human remains and associated funerary objects to the tribe named below may occur if no additional claimants come forward.
Notice of Intent To Prepare an Environmental Assessment for the Disposal of Public Lands in Jerome County, Idaho, and Possible Land Use Plan Amendment
In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA), as amended, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Shoshone Field Office, Shoshone, Idaho, intends to prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) and a possible amendment to the 1985 Monument Resource Management Plan (RMP), Shoshone, Idaho, to identify a specific 7.45 acre parcel of land for potential direct sale. By this notice the BLM is announcing the beginning of the scoping process to solicit public comments and identify issues.
