Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, the National Park Service (NPS) announces the availability of the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the White-tailed Deer Management Plan for Valley Forge National Historical Park, Pennsylvania. The purpose of the FEIS is to evaluate a range of alternatives for establishing a white-tailed deer management plan that supports forest regeneration and provides for long-term protection, preservation, and restoration of native vegetation and other natural and cultural resources. In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Eastern Montana Resource Advisory Council (RAC), will meet as indicated below.

The public lands described in this Notice consist of four small parcels ranging in size from 0.01 acres to 1.75 acres for a total of 1.87 acres in Gilpin County, Colorado. The parcels are being proposed for direct sale to Prospectors Run LLC at no less than the appraised fair market value (FMV) to resolve inadvertent, unauthorized use and occupancy of the parcels. No significant resource values will be affected by disposal of these parcels from Federal ownership. The sale is consistent with Bureau of Land Management (BLM) policies and the BLM Colorado Northeast Resource Management Plan, dated September 16, 1986.

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Public Laws 92-463 and 94-579, that the California Desert District Advisory Council to the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of the Interior, will meet in formal session on Friday, August 28, 2009, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday, August 29, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Riverside Marriott, 3400 Market St., Riverside, CA 92501.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Burns District Office, Oregon, intends to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and to solicit public comments pursuant to section 102(2)(C) of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 in response to a right-of-way application filed by Echanis, LLC, for the proposed North Steens Transmission Line Project. The project will involve BLM- administered public lands, private lands, and lands administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, Harney County, Oregon.
