Advisory Board of Exceptional Children
In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is announcing that the Advisory Board for Exceptional Children (Advisory Board) will hold its next meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The purpose of the meeting is to meet the mandates of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004 (IDEA) on Indian children with disabilities.
Request for Nominations of Members To Serve on the Bureau of Indian Education Advisory Board for Exceptional Children
Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, as amended by Public Law 108-446 (IDEA of 2004), the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) requests nominations of individuals to serve on the Advisory Board for Exceptional Children (Advisory Board). The BIE will consider nominations received in response to this Request for Nominations, as well as other sources.
