Tribal Self-Governance Program Information Collection
The Bureau of Indian Affairs is seeking comments from the public on an extension of an information collection from potential Self-Governance Tribes, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The information collected under OMB Clearance Number, 1076-0143, will be used to establish requirements for entry into the pool of qualified applicants for self-governance, to provide information for awarding grants, and to meet reporting requirements of the Self-Governance Act.
Notice of Proposed Reinstatement of Terminated Oil and Gas Lease
Under the provisions of 30 U.S.C. 188(d) and (e), and 43 CFR 3108.2-3(a) and (b)(1), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) received a petition for reinstatement of oil and gas lease COC66204 from John P. Strang for lands in Garfield County, Colorado. The petition was filed on time and was accompanied by all the rentals due since the date the lease terminated under the law.
Notice of Intent To Prepare a Comprehensive Conservation Plan and Environmental Assessment for the Rainwater Basin Wetland Management District, Kearney, NE
This notice advises that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to gather information necessary to prepare a Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) and associated environmental documents for the Rainwater Basin Wetland Management District (WMD) in south-central Nebraska. The Service is furnishing this notice in compliance with Service CCP policy to advise other agencies and the public of its intentions, and to obtain suggestions and information on the scope of issues to be considered in the planning process.
Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor Commission Meeting
This notice announces an upcoming meeting of the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor Commission. Notice of this meeting is required under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Public Law 92-463). Meeting Date and Time: Friday, January 13, 20061:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Address: Hotel Bethlehem, 437 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. The agenda for the meeting will focus on implementation of the Management Action Plan for the Delaware and Lehigh Heritage Corridor and State Heritage Park. The Commission was established to assist the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and its political subdivisions in planning and implementing an integrated strategy for protecting and promoting cultural, historic and natural resources. The Commission reports to the Secretary of the Interior and to Congress.
