Notice of Intent To Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for Disposal and Reuse of Parcel 20 at Savanna Army Depot Activity, Illinois
The Department of the Army (Army) is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess the potential environmental and socioeconomic effects associated with the disposal and reuse of an approximately 132-acre land parcel at the Savanna Army Depot Activity (SVADA), Illinois. Under the proposed action, the Army would dispose of the parcel, known as Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA) Parcel 20, and transfer it to the Jo- Carroll Depot LRA or other recipients for their reuse. The EIS will analyze the potential direct effects of the Army conveying LRA Parcel 20 and the potential indirect effects of reuse of the parcel.
Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Real Property Master Plan Implementation at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point, North Carolina AGENCY: Department of the Army, DoD.
The Department of the Army (Army) announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for implementing proposed real property actions at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point (MOTSU), North Carolina. This DEIS evaluates the potential effects of the implementation of various projects needed for the safety and mission of the facility and provides an analysis of the effects of implementing real property maintenance, repair, upgrade, and development actions. The proposed action is needed to address improvements to real property related to explosive safety, waterfront maintenance, security, and linear infrastructure. The projects and programs address compliance with federal, state, DoD, and Army standards vital to safety, security, and other mission needs. The document also makes available for public comment a Draft Finding of No Practicable Alternative (FONPA) prepared because portions of the proposed action occur in floodplains or involve construction in wetlands, or both.
Notice of Intent To Prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) for the Columbia River System Operations
In 2020, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), and Bonneville Power Administration (Bonneville) issued the 2020 Columbia River System Operations Final Environmental Impact Statement (CRSO EIS; DOE/EIS-0529), which addressed the ongoing operations, maintenance, and configuration of fourteen Federal Columbia River System (CRS) multiple purpose dams and related facilities located throughout the Columbia River basin. The Corps and Reclamation (Co-Lead Agencies) intend to prepare a supplemental EIS to address environmental effects from proposed changes to the selected alternative in the CRSO EIS and new circumstances and information about the significance of adverse effects that arose or became available after completion of the CRSO EIS. Bonneville has not elected to serve as a co-lead agency for this SEIS and has instead expressed interest in participating as a cooperating agency.
Notice of Availability of a Draft Programmatic Environmental Assessment for the Energy Efficient Rigid Wall Module and the Expeditionary Platoon Life Support Module
The United States (U.S.) Army announces the availability of a draft programmatic environmental assessment (PEA) for the implementation of two Force Provider containerized basecamp systems: the Energy Efficient Rigid Wall Module (E2RWM) and the Expeditionary Platoon Life Support Module (EPLSM). The draft PEA analyzes the potential environmental impacts associated with the design, production, testing, training, fielding, demilitarization, and disposal of the E2RWM and EPLSM. This notice of availability (NOA) announces the start of the public review and comment period. After the U.S. Army addresses public comments submitted during the review period, a final PEA will be published. The PEA will inform the U.S. Army's decision regarding the deployment and use of the Force Provider systems.

In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the United States Military Academy (USMA) announces a proposed public information collection and seeks public comment on the provisions thereof. Comments are invited on: whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency, including whether the information shall have practical utility; the accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden of the proposed information collection; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways to minimize the burden of the information collection on respondents, including through the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology.
Surplus Property; Notice of Additional Property at the Former Pueblo Chemical Depot
This Notice amends the Notice published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2013 and provides information regarding the property that has been determined surplus to the United States needs pursuant to section 2854 (Closure and Disposal of the Pueblo Chemical Depot, Pueblo County, Colorado) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 (NDAA FY24) and in accordance with procedures and authorities for the closure, management, and disposal of property under the appropriate base closure laws, and following screening with Federal agencies and Department of Defense components.
