60 Day Notice of Proposed Information Collection: ECA Exchange Student Surveys
The Department of State is seeking Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval for the information collection described below. In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, we are requesting comments on this collection from all interested individuals and organizations. The purpose of this notice is to allow 60 days for public comment preceding submission of the collection to OMB.
Notice of Determinations; Culturally Significant Objects Imported for Exhibition-Determinations: “The Great Hall Commission: Kent Monkman, mistikôsiwak (Wooden Boat People)” Exhibition
Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that certain objects to be exhibited in the exhibition ``The Great Hall Commission: Kent Monkman, mistik[ocirc]siwak (Wooden Boat People)'' imported from abroad for temporary exhibition within the United States, are of cultural significance. The objects are imported pursuant to loan agreement with the foreign owner or custodian. On September 5, 2019, notice was published on page 46772 of the Federal Register (volume 84, number 172) of determinations pertaining to certain objects to be included in an exhibition entitled ``Alonso Berruguete: First Sculptor of Renaissance Spain.'' Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that certain additional objects to be exhibited in the exhibition ``Alonso Berruguete: First Sculptor of Renaissance Spain,'' imported from abroad for temporary exhibition within the United States, are of cultural significance. The objects are imported pursuant to loan agreements with the foreign owners or custodians. I also determine that the exhibition or display of the exhibit object at the Meadows Museum, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, from on or about March 29, 2020, until on or about July 26, 2020, and at possible additional exhibitions or venues yet to be determined, is in the national interest. Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Evaluation Division Focus Group Discussions
The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs' (ECA) Evaluation Division invites current and potential award recipients to participate in an initiative aimed at refining ECA's Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system. The Division plans to host Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) designed to provide an opportunity for current and prospective ECA award recipients to offer input regarding program indicators and corresponding data collection questions as part of a broader effort to create a performance monitoring system that will provide reliable, easily-accessible data. Updating the State Department's List of Entities and Subentities Associated With Cuba (Cuba Restricted List)
The Department of State is publishing an update to its List of Restricted Entities and Subentities Associated with Cuba (Cuba Restricted List) with which direct financial transactions are generally prohibited under the Cuban Assets Control Regulations (CACR). This Cuba Restricted List is also considered during review of license applications submitted to the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) pursuant to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
