Notice of Determinations; Culturally Significant Objects Imported for Exhibition-Determinations: “Sahel: Art and Empires on the Shores of the Sahara” Exhibition
Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that certain objects to be included in the exhibition ``Sahel: Art and Empires on the Shores of the Sahara,'' imported from abroad for temporary exhibition within the United States, are of cultural significance. The objects are imported pursuant to loan agreements with the foreign owners or custodians. I also determine that the exhibition or display of the exhibit objects at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, New York, from on or about January 27, 2020, until on or about May 10, 2020, and at possible additional exhibitions or venues yet to be determined, is in the national interest. I have ordered that Public Notice of these determinations be published in the Federal Register.

Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that a certain additional object to be exhibited in the exhibition ``Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again,'' imported from abroad for temporary exhibition within the United States, is of cultural significance. The object is imported pursuant to a loan agreement with the foreign owner or custodian. I also determine that the exhibition or display of the exhibit object at the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, from on or about October 20, 2019, until on or about January 26, 2020, and at possible additional exhibitions or venues yet to be determined, is in the national interest.
