Notice of Determinations; Culturally Significant Objects Imported for Exhibition-Determinations: “Vija Celmins: To Fix the Image in Memory” Exhibition
Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that certain objects to be included in the exhibition ``Vija Celmins: To Fix the Image in Memory,'' imported from abroad for temporary exhibition within the United States, are of cultural significance. The objects are imported pursuant to loan agreements with the foreign owners or custodians. I also determine that the exhibition or display of the exhibit objects at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, California, from on or about December 15, 2018, until on or about March 31, 2019; and at possible additional exhibitions or venues yet to be determined, is in the national interest. I have ordered that Public Notice of these determinations be published in the Federal Register.
Updating the State Department's List of Entities and Subentities Associated With Cuba (Cuba Restricted List)
The Department of State is publishing an update to its List of Restricted Entities and Subentities Associated with Cuba (Cuba Restricted List) with which direct financial transactions are generally prohibited under the Cuban Assets Control Regulations (CACR). This Cuba Restricted List is also considered during review of license applications submitted to the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) pursuant to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
