Reducing Regulation and Public Burden, and Controlling Cost
As part of its implementation of Executive Order 13771, ``Reducing Regulation and Controlling Regulatory Costs,'' issued by the President on January 30, 2017, the Department of State (the Department) is seeking comments and information from interested parties to assist the Department in identifying existing regulations, paperwork requirements and other regulatory obligations that can be modified or repealed, consistent with law, to achieve meaningful burden reduction while continuing to achieve the Department's statutory obligations.
Notice of Issuance of a Presidential Permit to NuStar Logistics, L.P.
The Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs issued a Presidential permit to NuStar Logistics, L.P. (``NuStar'') on June 28, 2017, authorizing NuStar to construct, connect, operate, and maintain pipeline facilities (``New Burgos pipeline facilities'') at the U.S.- Mexico border near Pe[ntilde]itas, Texas for the import or export of refined petroleum products, to include naphtha, liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas liquids, jet fuel, gasoline, and diesel. In accordance with Executive Order 13337 (April 30, 2004), the Acting Assistant Secretary determined that issuance of this permit would serve the national interest.
Notice of Issuance of a Presidential Permit to NuStar Logistics, L.P.
The Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs issued a Presidential permit to NuStar Logistics, L.P. (``NuStar'') on June 28, 2017, authorizing NuStar to operate and maintain existing pipeline facilities (``Dos Laredos pipeline facilities'') at the U.S.-Mexico border near Laredo, Texas for the transport of refined petroleum products, to include liquefied petroleum gas, regular and premium gasoline, kerosene, and diesel. In accordance with Executive Order 13337 (April 30, 2004), the Acting Assistant Secretary determined that issuance of this permit would serve the national interest.
