The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau) announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the proposed contract to secure additional inmate bed space for the Bureau's growing inmate population.
Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records
Pursuant to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), the United States Department of Justice (``Department''), proposes to establish a new system of records to maintain employee directory information entitled, ``Employee Directory Systems for the Department of Justice,'' JUSTICE/DOJ-014. The Department maintains employee directory information in order to facilitate employee collaboration and assist in professional contacts to benefit the Department's business practices. This system covers employee directory information located on the Department's internal e-mail system as well as directories maintained by components. This system notice also replaces, and the Department hereby removes, the following system notice, previously published by the Environment and Natural Resources Division: ``Personnel Locator System, Environment and Natural Resources Division (ENRD-002),'' 73 FR 39,722 (July 10, 2008).
Solicitation for a Cooperative Agreement-Production of Four Satellite/Internet Broadcasts and Produce Three Stand-Alone DVDs
The Department of Justice (DOJ), National Institute of Corrections (NIC) announces the availability of funds in FY 2010 for a cooperative agreement to fund the production of four satellite/internet broadcasts and produce three DVDs. Three of the proposed satellite programs are nationwide satellite/internet broadcasts (three hours each). One of the programs is eight-hours in length and will be a live broadcast for trainers and facilitators on ``How to Use the Developed DVD.''
