Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Program-Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Inflation Factors for Public Housing Agency (PHA) Renewal Funding
This notice establishes Renewal Funding Inflation Factors (RFIFs) to adjust Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 renewal funding for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program of each public housing agency (PHA), as required by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023. The notice apportions the expected percent change in national Per Unit Cost (PUC) for the HCV program, 9.60 percent, to each PHA based on the change in Fair Market Rents (FMRs) for their operating area to produce the FY 2023 RFIFs. HUD's FY 2023 methodology is the same as that which was used in FY 2022.
Extension of Public Interest, General Applicability Waiver of Build America, Buy America Provisions as Applied to Tribal Recipients of HUD Federal Financial Assistance
In accordance with the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA), this notice advises that HUD is proposing an extension to the previously issued public interest, general applicability waiver for an additional period of one year to the Buy America Domestic Content Procurement Preference (``Buy America Preference,'' or ``BAP'') as applied to Federal Financial Assistance (``FFA'') provided to Tribes, Tribally Designated Housing Entities (``TDHE''s), and other Tribal Entities (hereinafter collectively ``Tribal Recipients'').
