The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. The proposed rule would implement the Department's program that offers single family properties to local governments for one dollar and to Community Development Corporations (CDCs) on a cost recovery basis. The information collected will be used in binding contracts between the purchaser and HUD. The respondents are purchasers of HUD-owned properties: Community development corporations and governmental entities.

The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. This collection of information will be used in binding contracts between the purchaser and HUD in implementing the Good Neighbor Next Door Program. The respondents are purchasers of HUD-owned properties, teachers, law enforcement officers, and firefighters/emergency responders.

This Notice identifies unutilized, underutilized, excess, and surplus Federal property reviewed by HUD for suitability for possible use to assist the homeless.
