Notice of Submission of Proposed Information Collection to OMB; Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program Application
The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. A provision of the CDBG program provides communities financing for economic development, housing rehab, public facilities, and physical development projects. The information collection is necessary in order to render judgments on the eligibility of the activities proposed to be financed with Section 108 loan guarantee assistance and to ensure that the loan guarantee does not pose a financial risk to the Federal Government.

The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. Grants to assist nonprofit Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) of higher education expand their role and effectiveness in addressing community development needs, such as neighborhood revitalization, housing, and economic development, in their localities.
