Multifamily Project Applications and Construction Prior to Initial Endorsement
The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. Information provided is the application for HUD/FHA multifamily mortgage insurance. The information from sponsors and general contractors, and submitted by a HUD-approved mortgagee, is needed to determine project feasibility, mortgagor/contractor acceptability, and construction cost. Documentation from operators/managers of health care facilities is also required as part of the application for firm commitment for mortgage insurance. Project owners/sponsors may apply for permission to commence construction prior to initial endorsement.

The purpose of this document is to announce the names, addresses and the amount awarded to the winners to be used to help Hispanic-Serving Institutions of Higher Education to expand their role and effectiveness in addressing community development needs in their localities, consistent with the purposes of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 as amended.
