Base (1% annual chance) Flood Elevations (BFEs) and modified BFEs are made final for the communities listed below. The BFEs and modified BFEs are the basis for the floodplain management measures that each community is required either to adopt or to show evidence of being already in effect in order to qualify or remain qualified for participation in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has submitted the following information collection to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance in accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. Abstract: The purpose of the proposed survey is to measure FEMA's Public Assistance (PA) program performances and achievements against customer service standards of Executive Order 12862 of September 11, 1993, as well as Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA) objectivities. Survey results are used to gauge satisfaction levels of PA customers, and make improvements to disaster services that focus on customer satisfaction and program effectiveness. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on a proposed continuing information collection. In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice seeks comments concerning the adequacy of two forms FEMA uses to gather certain information about the floodplain management activities of communities that participate in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). The forms are used to gather information about a community's floodplain management regulations, administrative and enforcement procedures, flood insurance studies, and basic information pertaining to names, addresses, and phone numbers of individuals responsible for a community's floodplain management program.

This rule identifies communities, where the sale of flood insurance has been authorized under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), that are scheduled for suspension on the effective dates listed within this rule because of noncompliance with the floodplain management requirements of the program. If the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) receives documentation that the community has adopted the required floodplain management measures prior to the effective suspension date given in this rule, the suspension will not occur and a notice of this will be provided by publication in the Federal Register on a subsequent date.
