Safety Zone; Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg, Florida
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for the navigable waters of Tampa Bay, in the vicinity of the St. Petersburg Municipal Yacht Basin, St. Petersburg, Florida during the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. The temporary safety zone is needed to protect the safety of race participants, spectators, and vessels on the surrounding waterway during the race. Persons and vessels are prohibited from entering, transiting through, anchoring in, or remaining within the regulated area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port St. Petersburg or a designated representative.
Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee; April 2020 Teleconference
The Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee (Committee) will meet via teleconference to discuss issues related to the training and fitness of merchant marine personnel. The meetings will be open to the public.

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone in the navigable waters of the Alameda Estuary near Coast Guard Island in Alameda, CA in support of a munitions transfer on March 15, 2020. This safety zone is necessary to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from the dangers associated with live munitions. Unauthorized persons or vessels are prohibited from entering into, transiting through, or remaining in the safety zone without permission of the Captain of the Port or a designated representative.
