Notification of the Removal of Conditions of Entry on Vessels Arriving From Cote d'Ivoire
The Coast Guard announces that it is removing the conditions of entry on vessels arriving from the country of Cote d'Ivoire. Based on the results of the most recent country visit, the Coast Guard has determined that Cote d'Ivoire is now substantially implementing the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code and has effective anti-terrorism measures in place.
National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee; Vacancies
The U.S. Coast Guard is accepting applications to fill eight vacancies on the National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee (Committee). This Committee advises the Secretary of Homeland Security, through the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard, on matters relating to the safe and secure marine transportation of hazardous materials.
Drawbridge Operation Regulation; Bay St. Louis, Bay St. Louis, MS
The Coast Guard proposes to change how the CSX Transportation railroad drawbridge across Bay St. Louis, mile 0.5, Bay St. Louis, MS will operate. The bridge will continue to open according to the drawbridge regulations but the bridge tender will operate this bridge from a remote location at the CSX railroad terminal in Mobile, Alabama.
