Safety Zone; Ohio River, Owensboro, KY

The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a temporary safety zone for all navigable waters of the Ohio River, extending the entire width of the river, from mile marker (MM) 756.3 to MM 757.3. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Owensboro, Kentucky, during the Owensboro Convention Center fireworks display on June 15, 2019. This proposed rulemaking would prohibit persons and vessels from being in the safety zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Ohio Valley or a designated representative.
