The Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation from the operating schedule that governs the Main Street Bridge across the Wicomico River (North Prong), mile 22.4, at Salisbury, MD. The deviation is necessary to accommodate the cleaning and painting of the bridge. This deviation allows the bridge to remain in the closed-to- navigation position and open on signal if at least 24 hours notice is given.

This rule identifies communities where the sale of flood insurance has been authorized under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) that are scheduled for suspension on the effective dates listed within this rule because of noncompliance with the floodplain management requirements of the program. If the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) receives documentation that the community has adopted the required floodplain management measures prior to the effective suspension date given in this rule, the suspension will not occur and a notice of this will be provided by publication in the Federal Register on a subsequent date. Also, information identifying the current participation status of a community can be obtained from FEMA's Community Status Book (CSB). This notice amends the notice of a major disaster declaration for the State of North Carolina (FEMA-4393-DR), dated September 14, 2018, and related determinations.

The Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation from the operating schedule that governs the South Park highway bridge (South Park Bridge), across the Duwamish Waterway mile 3.8, at Seattle, WA. The deviation allows the bridge owner to remove the drawtender during the late evening and early morning hours. This deviation authorizes the subject bridge to open during nighttime hours after receiving a 12 hour advance notice.
