Quarterly IRS Interest Rates Used in Calculating Interest on Overdue Accounts and Refunds on Customs Duties
This notice advises the public of the quarterly Internal Revenue Service interest rates used to calculate interest on overdue accounts (underpayments) and refunds (overpayments) of customs duties. For the calendar quarter beginning April 1, 2010, the interest rates for overpayments will be 3 percent for corporations and 4 percent for non-corporations, and the interest rate for underpayments will be 4 percent. This notice is published for the convenience of the importing public and Customs and Border Protection personnel.

The Coast Guard announces that a Certificate of Alternative Compliance was issued for the offshore supply vessel LEBOUEF TIDE as required by 33 U.S.C. 1605(c) and 33 CFR 81.18.
Special Local Regulation for Marine Events; Temporary Change of Dates for Recurring Marine Events in the Fifth Coast Guard District
The Coast Guard proposes to temporarily change the enforcement period of special local regulations for recurring marine events in the Fifth Coast Guard District. These regulations apply to only two recurring marine events that conduct power boat races. Special local regulations are necessary to provide for the safety of life on navigable waters during the event. This action is intended to restrict vessel traffic in portions of the Western Branch, Elizabeth River, VA, and North Atlantic Ocean, Ocean City, MD during each event.

The Commercial Fishing Industry Vessel Safety Advisory Committee (CFIVSAC) will meet in Oakland, CA, to discuss various issues relating to commercial vessel safety in the fishing industry. This meeting will be open to the public.
