Privacy Act of 1974; Report of an Altered System of Records
In accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act of 1974, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is proposing to alter the system of records for the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, 09-15-0056. In accordance with the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, as amended (42 U.S.C. 300aa-10, et seq.) (the Vaccine Act), the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program receives records from individuals or representatives of individuals alleged to be injured by vaccines. The purposes of these alterations are to update the system name, authority, and location; make a minor change to the purposes, add new routine uses (numbers 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14); update the safeguards; update retention and disposal; and update the system manager contact information.
Donor Management Research: Improvements in Clinical Management of Deceased Organ Donors
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Division of Transplantation, is soliciting input, feedback, and suggestions from researchers and interested parties within the organ donation and transplant community regarding guidance for a possible grant or contract that focuses on improvements in clinical management of deceased organ donors. Given the continued imbalance between the demand for and supply of deceased donor organs, it is essential that deceased donors be managed appropriately to optimize the number and function of donor organs. It is reasonable to expect that better clinical donor management would improve organ quality, organs transplanted per donor (OTPD), and post- transplant recipient outcomes.
Advisory Committee on Interdisciplinary, Community-Based Linkages Notice for Request for Nominations
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is requesting nominations to fill ten upcoming vacancies on the Advisory Committee on Interdisciplinary, Community-Based Linkages (ACICBL). Authority: 42 U.S.C. 294f, section 757 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act, as amended by the Affordable Care Act. The ACICBL is governed by the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Public Law (Pub. L.) 92-463, as amended (5 U.S.C. Appendix 2), which sets forth standards for the formation and use of advisory committees.
Part D Grant for Coordinated HIV Services and Access to Research for Women, Infants, Children, and Youth Part D Funds Under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program
HRSA will be awarding, non-competitively, Part D Funds to support family-centered primary medical care, treatment, and support services (directly or through contracts) for women, infants, children, and youth with HIV/AIDS, to the University of Utah in order to ensure continuity of critical HIV medical care and support services, to women, infants, children and youth in Salt Lake City, Utah and the surrounding counties.
Advisory Committee on Organ Transplantation; Request for Nominations for Voting Members
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is requesting nominations to fill vacancies on the Advisory Committee on Organ Transplantation (ACOT). The ACOT was established by the Amended Final Rule of the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) (42 CFR part 121) and, in accordance with Public Law 92-463, was chartered on September 1, 2000.
Privacy Act of 1974; Report of an Altered System of Records
In accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act of 1974, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is publishing a notice to alter the Correspondence Control System. This system of records is used to control and track all correspondence documents addressed or directed to, as well as initiated by, the Administrator, HRSA, or his/her subordinates, as well as other Agency documents, to assure timely and appropriate attention. The purposes of these alterations are to reflect a change in the system name and location; the system manager and address; policies and practices for storing, retrieving, accessing, retaining, and disposing of records in the system; contesting records procedures; and the addition of routine use number 3. The last update of this SORN 09-15-0059 was December 23, 1998 (63 FR 71145).
Family-to-Family Health Information Center Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will be transferring the Vermont Family-to-Family Health Information Center (F2F HIC) grant (H84MC00002) from the Parent to Parent (P2P) of Vermont to the Vermont Family Network, Inc. (VFN) in Williston, due to an organizational merger involving these entities and to ensure the continued provision of health resources, financing, related services, and parent-to-parent support for families with children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) in the state of Vermont.
Family-to-Family Health Information Center Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will be transferring the Florida Family-to-Family Health Information Center (F2F HIC) grant (H84MC00006) from the Florida Institute of Family Involvement (FIFI) to the Family Caf[eacute] in Tallahassee due to financial difficulties resulting in closure of FIFI facilities and programs. This action ensures the continued provision of health resources, financing, related services and parent-to-parent support for families with children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) in the state of Florida.
Part C Early Intervention Services Grant Under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program
HRSA will be awarding non-competitive Part C funds under The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program to support comprehensive primary care services for persons living with HIV/AIDS, including primary medical care, laboratory testing, oral health care, outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment, specialty and subspecialty care, referrals for health and support services and adherence monitoring/ education services to the Tutwiler Clinic to ensure continuity of critical HIV medical care and treatment services, to clients in Marks, Mississippi, and the surrounding counties.
Health Center Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will transfer Health Center Program (Section 330(h) of the Public Health Service Act) funds originally awarded to Saint Vincent's Catholic Medical Centers of New York to Sunset Park Health Council, Inc., to ensure the continuity of services to low-income, underserved, homeless patients in New York City.
