In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the CDC and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), announce the following meeting for the CDC/HRSA Advisory Committee on HIV, Viral Hepatitis and STD Prevention and Treatment (CHACHSPT). This meeting is open to the public, limited only by 90 seats and 70 ports for audio phone lines. Time will be available for public comment. The public is welcome to submit written comments in advance of the meeting. Comments should be submitted in writing by email to the contact person listed below. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or Agency) has determined that CORTISPORIN (hydrocortisone/neomycin sulfate/polymyxin B sulfate) otic solution, 10 milligrams (mg)/milliliter (mL) hydrocortisone, 3.5 mg base/mL neomycin sulfate, 10,000 units/mL polymyxin B sulfate, was not withdrawn from sale for reasons of safety or effectiveness. This determination means that FDA will not begin procedures to withdraw approval of abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) that refer to this drug product, and it will allow FDA to continue to approve ANDAs that refer to the product as long as they meet relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
