Determining the Number of Employees for Purposes of the “Small Business” Definition in Parts 117 and 507: Draft Guidance for Industry; Availability
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA, the Agency, or we) is announcing the availability of a draft guidance for industry describing the Agency's current thinking on how to determine the number of employees for purposes of the ``small business'' definition in the Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for human and animal food rules. The draft guidance, when finalized, will help industry subject to those rules determine the number of employees for purposes of the ``small business'' definition.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as part of its continuing effort to reduce public burden and maximize the utility of government information, invites the general public and other Federal agencies the opportunity to comment on a proposed and/or continuing information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice invites comment on a proposed information collection project titled Women's Health Needs Study: The Health of U.S.-Resident Women from Countries with Prevalent Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C).
