Notice of Final Policy; Revised Policy on Determining Net Requirements of Pacific Northwest Utility Customers Under Sections 5(b)(1) and 9(c) of the Northwest Power Act
In July 2007, the Bonneville Power Administration released its Long-Term Regional Dialogue Final Policy (RD Policy) and associated Record of Decision (ROD). The RD Policy proposed specific, related changes to BPA's May 2000 Policy on Determining Net Requirements Under Sections 5(b)(1) and 9(c) of the Northwest Power Act (5(b)/9(c) Policy) that BPA identified as necessary for the successful implementation of the RD Policy. Accordingly, BPA conducted a limited-scope review of its 5(b)/9(c) Policy for the purpose of supporting the implementation of the RD Policy.
Application To Export Electric Energy; Western Systems Power Pool
Thirteen members of the Western Systems Power Pool (WSPP) are authorized to transmit electric energy from the United States to Canada pursuant to section 202(e) of the Federal Power Act. One authorized exporter, TransCanada Energy Marketing ULC (TCEM), has transferred its wholesale electric trading operations to an affiliate and requests that the electricity export authorization contained in Order No. EA-98-K be amended to reflect this change.
State Energy Advisory Board (STEAB)
This notice announces a teleconference of the State Energy Advisory Board (STEAB). The Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92- 463; 86 Stat.770) requires that public notice of these teleconferences be announced in the Federal Register.
