Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement: Noncommercial Computer Software (DFARS Case 2018-D018)
DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement a section of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 that requires DoD to consider all noncommercial computer software and related materials necessary to meet the needs of the agency. In addition to the request for written comments on this proposed rule, DoD will hold a public meeting to hear the views of interested parties.
