Program for Construction, Renovation, Repair or Expansion of Public Schools Located on Military Installations
The Secretary of Defense was previously authorized to establish a limited program to construct, renovate, repair, or expand elementary and secondary public schools on military installations in order to address capacity or facility condition deficiencies at such schools. Pursuant to Section 8108 of Public Law 113-6, the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2013, Congress made available an additional $270 million for the program and added a new eligibility criterion. This notice explains the additional criterion and the procedures for the DoD program, administered by OEA, to distribute the $270 million.
Renewal of Department of Defense Federal Advisory Committees
Under the provisions of 10 U.S.C. 2166(e), the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (5 U.S.C. Appendix), the Government in the Sunshine Act of 1976 (5 U.S.C. 552b), and 41 CFR 102-3.50(a), the Department of Defense (DoD) gives notice that it is renewing the charter for the Inland Waterways Users Board (``the Board'').
