GSA, DOD, and NASA are issuing a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement Executive Order (E.O.) 13502, Use of Project Labor Agreements for Federal Construction Projects. The E.O. encourages the use of project labor agreements for large-scale Federal construction projects in order to promote economy and efficiency in Federal procurement.

Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. chapter 35), the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Regulatory Secretariat, will be submitting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve an extension of a currently approved information collection requirement concerning the one-time reporting, compensation requirements. A request for public comments was published in the Federal Register at 74 FR 14639, on March 31, 2009.
