Draft Plan for Providing Public Access to the Results of Federally Funded Research
The National Institute of Standards and Technology seeks comments on the Draft NIST Plan for Providing Public Access to the Results of Federally Funded Research. NIST is taking steps to make its scientific data and publications more readily available and accessible by the public, as directed in an August 2022 memorandum from the Office of Science and Technology Policy. The NIST Public Access Plan applies to the results of research funded wholly or in part by NIST, presented in peer-reviewed scholarly publications and as research data. This document outlines NIST's plan for implementing new requirements to manage the public access of scientific data and publications. Public comments received on the NIST Public Access Plan will inform NIST as it revises its existing directives to implement the updated Plan.
Open Meetings of the Internet of Things Advisory Board

National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) Cybersecurity for the Water and Wastewater Sector: A Practical Reference Design for Mitigating Cyber Risk in Water and Wastewater Systems
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) invites organizations to provide letters of interest describing products and technical expertise to support and demonstrate security platforms for the Cybersecurity for the Water and Wastewater Sector: A Practical Reference Design for Mitigating Cyber Risk in Water and Wastewater Systems project. This notice is the initial step for the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) in collaborating with technology companies to address cybersecurity challenges identified under the Cybersecurity for the Water and Wastewater Sector: A Practical Reference Design for Mitigating Cyber Risk in Water and Wastewater Systems project. Participation in the project is open to all interested organizations.
National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) announces that the National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee (NAIAC or Committee) will hold a series of virtual briefing sessions. These sessions will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023; Thursday, June 22, 2023; and Tuesday, June 27, 2023. The purpose of these sessions is for invited experts to brief the Committee on topics of interest related to the Committee's year two efforts. Open Meeting of the Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board
The Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board (ISPAB) will meet Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time, and Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Eastern Time. All sessions will be open to the public.
NIST's Research Data Framework
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seeks comments on NIST's Research Data Framework (RDaF or Framework). The RDaF is a tool that aims to help shape the future of open data access and research data management. A broader range of stakeholder views is needed for refining the next version of the RDaF. The current draft of the RDaF is available electronically from the NIST website at: https://doi.org/10.6028/NIST.SP.1500-18r1. All individuals and organizations with influence on and who are influenced by research data management are encouraged to offer their input.
