The National Construction Safety Team (NCST) Advisory Committee (Committee) will hold an open meeting in-person and via web conference on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The primary purposes of this meeting are to update the Committee on the progress of the NCST investigation focused on the impacts of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, and progress of the NCST investigation focused on the Champlain Towers South partial building collapse that occurred in Surfside, Florida. The Department of Commerce, in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), invites the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on proposed, and continuing information collections, which helps us assess the impact of our information collection requirements and minimize the public's reporting burden. The purpose of this notice is to allow for 60 days of public comment preceding submission of the collection to OMB.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) announces that the National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee (NAIAC or Committee) will hold a virtual briefing session on Thursday, August 3, 2023. The purpose of the session is for invited experts to brief the Committee on topics of interest related to the Committee's year two efforts.
