The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Smart Grid Advisory Committee (SGAC or Committee) will meet in open session on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time and Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastern time. The primary purposes of this meeting are to discuss the draft NIST Framework and Roadmap for Smart Grid Interoperability Standards, Release 4.0 and provide updates on NIST Smart Grid activities, and the intersections with Cyber-Physical Systems program activities. The agenda may change to accommodate Committee business. The final agenda will be posted on the Smart Grid website at https://www.nist.gov/ smartgrid.

This notice announces changes to the existing provisions of the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) Alternative Personnel Management System (APMS) published October 21, 1997 (62 FR 54604), and August 13, 2012 (77 FR 48128). NIST is modifying its current APMS direct-hire authority to include positions in the General Engineering, 801 series; General Physical Science, 1301 series; and Information Technology Management, 2210 series at the Pay Band III and above.

NIST will consider nominations received in response to this notice for appointment to the Committees, in addition to nominations already received. Registered Federal lobbyists may not serve on NIST Federal Advisory Committees in an individual capacity.
