Developing a Framework To Improve Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting a comprehensive review to develop a framework to reduce cyber risks to critical infrastructure \1\ (the ``Cybersecurity Framework'' or ``Framework''). The Framework will consist of standards, methodologies, procedures, and processes that align policy, business, and technological approaches to address cyber risks.

The American Petroleum Institute (API), with the assistance of other interested parties, continues to develop standards, both national and international, in several areas. This notice lists the standardization efforts currently being conducted by API committees. Advisory Committee on Earthquake Hazards Reduction Meeting
The Advisory Committee on Earthquake Hazards Reduction (ACEHR or Committee), will hold an open meeting via teleconference on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The primary purpose of this meeting is to finalize the Committee's draft letter report to the NIST Director. Any draft meeting materials will be posted prior to the meeting on the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHRP) web site at https://nehrp.gov/. Interested members of the public will be able to participate in the meeting from remote locations by calling into a central phone number.
