Certain Tissue Paper Products From the People's Republic of China: Preliminary Results of the 2008-2009 Administrative Review
The Department of Commerce (the Department) is currently conducting the 2008-2009 administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain tissue paper products from the People's Republic of China (PRC). We preliminarily determine that sales have been made below normal value (NV) with respect to Max Fortune Industrial Limited and Max Fortune (FZ) Paper Products Co., Ltd. (Max Fortune Fuzhou) \1\ (collectively, Max Fortune) but not with respect to Seaman Paper Asia Company, Ltd. (SPA).
Certain Orange Juice From Brazil: Preliminary Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review and Notice of Intent Not To Revoke Antidumping Duty Order in Part
In response to a request by the petitioners and two producers/ exporters of the subject merchandise, the Department of Commerce (the Department) is conducting an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain orange juice (OJ) from Brazil of those two producers/exporters of the subject merchandise to the United States. This is the third period of review (POR), covering March 1, 2008, through February 28, 2009.
Circular Welded Carbon Steel Pipes and Tubes from Thailand: Preliminary Results and Rescission, in Part, of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review
The Department of Commerce (the Department) is conducting an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand, in response to requests from Allied Tube and Conduit Corporation (Allied Tube) and Wheatland Tube Company(Wheatland) (collectively, petitioners). This review covers the period March 1, 2008 through February 28, 2009. We preliminarily determine that U.S. sales of subject merchandise have been made by Saha Thai Steel Pipe (Public) Company, Ltd. (Saha Thai) below normal value (NV). If these preliminary results are adopted in our final results, we will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to assess antidumping duties based on the difference between the export price (EP) and the NV. We are also rescinding the administrative review of Pacific Pipe Company Limited (Pacific Pipe). We will instruct CBP to assess antidumping duties on entries of this merchandise produced by Pacific Pipe at the cash deposit rate required at the time of entry. Brass Sheet and Strip From Germany: Preliminary Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review
The Department of Commerce (the Department) is conducting an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on brass sheet and strip (BSS) from Germany. For the period of review (POR) March 1, 2008, through February 28, 2009, we have preliminarily determined that U.S. sales have not been made below normal value (NV). If these preliminary results are adopted in our final results, we will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to assess antidumping duties on all appropriate entries of subject merchandise during the POR. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.
Certain Pasta From Italy: Preliminary Results of the 13th (2008) Countervailing Duty Administrative Review
The Department of Commerce (``Department'') is conducting an administrative review of the countervailing duty order on certain pasta from Italy for the period January 1, 2008, through December 31, 2008. We preliminarily find that Pastificio Lucio Garofalo S.p.A. (``Garofalo'') received countervailable subsidies and that F.lli De Cecco di Filippo Fara San Martino S.p.A. (``De Cecco Pastificio'')/ Molino e Pastificio De Cecco S.p.A. (``De Cecco Pescara''), members of the De Cecco group of companies, received de minimis countervailable subsidies.
