International Services Surveys: BE-140, Benchmark Survey of Insurance Transactions by U.S. Insurance Companies With Foreign Persons
This proposed rule would amend regulations of the Bureau of Economic Analysis, Department of Commerce (BEA) to set forth the reporting requirements for the Benchmark Survey of Insurance Transactions by U.S. Insurance Companies with Foreign Persons. This proposed rule is for a new survey, which would collect data on cross- border reinsurance and other insurance transactions from U.S. insurance companies. If approved, the survey would be conducted every five years with the first survey covering calendar year 2008.
