Agency Information Collection Activities; Submission to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for Review and Approval; Comment Request; Current Population Survey (CPS) Voting and Registration Supplement
The Department of Commerce, in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on proposed, and continuing information collections, which helps us assess the impact of our information collection requirements and minimize the public's reporting burden. The purpose of this notice is to allow for 60 days of public comment on the proposed reinstatement without change of the Current Population Survey Voting and Registration Supplement as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, prior to the submission of the information collection request (ICR) to OMB for approval.
Census Bureau National Advisory Committee on Racial, Ethnic, and Other Populations
The Census Bureau is publishing this notice to announce the renewal of the Census Bureau National Advisory Committee on Racial, Ethnic, and Other Populations (NAC or Committee). The purpose of the Committee is to provide advice to the Director of the Census Bureau on the full range of economic, housing, demographic, socioeconomic, linguistic, technological, methodological, geographic, behavioral, and operational variables affecting the cost, accuracy, and implementation of Census Bureau programs and surveys, including the decennial census. This includes the identification of new strategies for improved census operations and survey and data collection methods, including cost efficient ways to increase census participation. National Advisory Committee
The Census Bureau is giving notice of a virtual meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Racial, Ethnic and Other Populations (NAC). The Committee will address policy, research, and technical issues relating to a full range of Census Bureau programs and activities, including the decennial census, demographic and economic statistical programs, field operations, and information technology. Last minute changes to the schedule are possible, which could prevent giving advance public notice of schedule adjustments.
