Narrow Woven Ribbons With Woven Selvedge From the People's Republic of China and Taiwan: Continuation of Antidumping Duty Orders and Countervailing Duty Order
As a result of the determinations by the Department of Commerce (the ``Department'') and the International Trade Commission (the ``ITC'') that revocation of the antidumping duty (``AD'') orders on narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge (``NWRs'') from the People's Republic of China (``PRC'') and Taiwan and the countervailing duty (``CVD'') order on NWRs from the PRC would likely lead to a continuation or recurrence of dumping and countervailable subsidies and material injury to an industry in the United States, the Department is publishing this notice of continuation of the AD orders and the CVD order.
Certain Polyester Staple Fiber From the Republic of Korea: Rescission of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review; 2015-2016
The Department of Commerce is rescinding the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain polyester staple fiber from the Republic of Korea, based on the timely withdrawal of requests for review. The period of review is May 1, 2015, through April 30, 2016.
Certain Carbon and Alloy Steel Cut-to-Length Plate From Brazil, South Africa, and the Republic of Turkey: Affirmative Preliminary Determinations of Sales at Less Than Fair Value
The Department of Commerce (the Department) preliminarily determines that imports of Certain Carbon and Alloy Steel Cut-to-Length Plate (CTL plate) from Brazil, South Africa, and the Republic of Turkey (Turkey) are being, or are likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value (LTFV). The period of investigation (POI) for these investigations is April 1, 2015, through March 31, 2016. The estimated margins of sales at LTFV are shown in the ``Preliminary Determinations'' section of this notice. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary determinations.
Fisheries of the Northeastern United States; Atlantic Bluefish Fishery; Quota Transfer
NMFS announces its approval of a transfer of a portion of the 2016 commercial bluefish quota from the State of New Jersey to the State of New York. This approval of the transfer complies with the Atlantic Bluefish Fishery Management Plan quota transfer provision. This announcement also informs the public of the revised commercial quotas for New Jersey and New York.
Fisheries of the Exclusive Economic Zone Off Alaska; Shortraker Rockfish in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska
NMFS is prohibiting retention of shortraker rockfish in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska (GOA). This action is necessary because the 2016 total allowable catch of shortraker rockfish in the Central Regulatory Area of the GOA has been reached. This closure does not apply to vessels participating in the catcher/ processor cooperative fishery in the Rockfish Program.
Census Scientific Advisory Committee
The Bureau of the Census (Census Bureau) is giving notice of a virtual meeting of the Census Scientific Advisory Committee (CSAC). The Committee will address the results of the 2015 National Content Test on race and ethnicity. The CSAC will meet virtually on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Last minute changes to the schedule are possible, which could prevent giving advance public notice of schedule adjustments.
