Initiation of Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Administrative Reviews and Request for Revocation in Part
The Department of Commerce (``the Department'') has received requests to conduct administrative reviews of various antidumping and countervailing duty orders and findings with January anniversary dates. In accordance with the Department's regulations, we are initiating those administrative reviews. The Department also received a request to revoke one antidumping duty order in part.
Ball Bearings and Parts Thereof From Germany: Initiation of Antidumping Duty Changed-Circumstances Review
Pursuant to section 751(b) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act), and 19 CFR 351.216 and 351.221(c)(3), the Department of Commerce (the Department) is initiating a changed-circumstances review of the antidumping duty order on ball bearings and parts thereof from Germany with respect to Schaeffler Technologies GmbH & Co. KG (Schaeffler Technologies).
National Advisory Council on Minority Business Enterprises; Meeting
The National Advisory Council for Minority Business Enterprise (NACMBE) will hold its inaugural meeting to provide an orientation of new committee members and future work products to fulfill the NACMBE's charter mandate. The meeting was originally scheduled on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 but was postponed due to inclement weather.
Notice of Solicitation of Nominations for Membership to National Advisory Council on Minority Business Enterprise (NACMBE)
In March 2010, the Department of Commerce established the National Advisory Council on Minority Business Enterprise (Council) in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended, 5 U.S.C. App. 2, and with the concurrence of the General Services Administration. The purpose of the Council is to advise the Secretary of Commerce (Secretary) on key issues pertaining to the growth and competitiveness of the nation's Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs). The Council's charter provides for not more than 25 members. In October 2010, 21 individuals accepted appointments from the Secretary to serve on the Council. The Department of Commerce is publishing this notice to solicit nominations for the four open Council membership positions for the 2-year charter term, which began in April 2010.
Evaluation of State Coastal Management Programs and National Estuarine Research Reserves
The NOAA Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM) announces its intent to evaluate the performance of the Mission-Aransas (Texas) National Estuarine Research Reserve. The National Estuarine Research Reserve evaluation will be conducted pursuant to sections 312 and 315 of the CZMA and regulations at 15 CFR part 921, subpart E and part 923, subpart L. Evaluation of a National Estuarine Research Reserve requires findings concerning the extent to which a state has met the national objectives, adhered to its Reserve final management plan approved by the Secretary of Commerce, and adhered to the terms of financial assistance awards funded under the CZMA. The evaluation will include a site visit, consideration of public comments, and consultations with interested Federal, state, and local agencies and members of the public. A public meeting will be held as part of the site visit. When the evaluation is completed, OCRM will place a notice in the Federal Register announcing the availability of the Final Evaluation Findings. Notice is hereby given of the dates of the site visit for the listed evaluation and the date, local time, and location of the public meeting during the site visit. Date and Time: The Mission-Aransas (Texas) National Estuarine Research Reserve evaluation site visit will be held April 11-15, 2011. One public meeting will be held during the week. The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at 5 p.m. local time at the Bay Education Center, 121 Seabreeze Drive, Rockport, Texas.
