Department of Commerce May 15, 2008 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

On December 27, 2007, the U.S. Department of Commerce (the Department) published a notice of initiation of an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain hot-rolled carbon steel flat products (hot-rolled steel) from Thailand. The review covers two manufacturers/exporters: G Steel Public Company Limited (G Steel) and Nakornthai Strip Mill Public Company Limited (NSM). The period of review (POR) is November 1, 2006, through October 31, 2007. Based on requests from United States Steel Corporation (petitioner) and Nucor Corporation (Nucor), we are now rescinding this administrative review.

The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council is cancelling the previously published public hearing on Aquaculture Amendment scheduled on Wednesday, May 28, 2008. The Council will publish a Federal Register notice when dates for this hearing are set.

The New England Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold a three-day Council meeting on June 3-5, 2008 to consider actions affecting New England fisheries in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
