Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc.; Availability of a Draft Plant Pest Risk Assessment and Draft Environmental Assessment for Determination of Nonregulated Status for Insect Resistant and Herbicide-Tolerant Maize
We are advising the public that the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has prepared a draft plant pest risk assessment and draft environmental assessment regarding a request from Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., seeking a determination of nonregulated status for DP23211 maize (corn), which was developed using genetic engineering for insect resistance to western corn rootworm and contains the gene that codes for the phosphinothricin acetyltransferase protein responsible for tolerance to glufosinate-ammonium herbicides. DP23211 corn also contains the gene that encodes for the phosphomannose isomerase protein, which is used as a selectable marker. We are making these documents available for public review and comment.

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice announces the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service's intention to request an extension of approval of an information collection associated with its efforts to control Johne's disease in the United States.
Kiwifruit Grown in California; Increased Assessment Rate
This rule implements a recommendation from the Kiwifruit Administrative Committee (Committee) to increase the assessment rate established for the 2022-23 and subsequent fiscal periods. The assessment rate will remain in effect indefinitely unless modified, suspended, or terminated.

This notice lists all newspapers that will be used by the Ranger Districts, Grasslands, Forests, and the Regional Office of the Southern Region to publish notices. Codex Alimentarius Commission: Meeting of the Codex Committee on Pesticide Residues
The U.S Codex Office is sponsoring a public meeting on May 25, 2023. The objective of the public meeting is to provide information and receive public comments on agenda items and draft U.S. positions to be discussed at the 54th Session of the Codex Committee on Pesticide Residues (CCPR) of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC), which will convene in Beijing, China from June 26-July 1, 2023. The U.S. Manager for Codex Alimentarius and the Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs recognize the importance of providing interested parties the opportunity to obtain background information on the 54th Session of the CCPR and to address items on the agenda.

Notice of Issuance of Final Permanent Seasonal Hunting Order in the Douglas Ranger District of the Thunder Basin National Grassland
The Forest Service (Forest Service or Agency), United States Department of Agriculture, is issuing a final permanent seasonal order prohibiting prairie dog hunting annually from February 1 to August 15 in Management Area 3.67 of the Douglas Ranger District in the Thunder Basin National Grassland, which covers approximately 42,000 acres in Campbell, Converse, and Weston Counties, Wyoming.
Notice of Intent To Publish Proposed Permanent Recreational Shooting Order in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests
The Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, is giving notice of its intent to publish for public comment a proposed permanent order prohibiting recreational shooting in the Pole Mountain Area of the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests, which covers approximately 55,000 acres in Albany County, Wyoming, from March 31 to September 10. At the end of the advance notice period, the Forest Service will seek public comments, as specified in this notice, on the proposed permanent seasonal recreational shooting order.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Collection; Comment Request: Improving Coordination Between SNAP and Medicaid in State Agencies
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. This collection is a new collection for (1) identifying and describing relevant federal statutory, regulatory, and operational barriers and facilitators that have considerable impact on coordination between the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medicaid agencies; (2) identifying and describing relevant State statutory, regulator, and operational barriers and facilitators that have considerable impact on coordination between SNAP and Medicaid agencies; (3) identifying and describing systems used by States to determine eligibility and manage SNAP and Medicaid application and recertification information; (4) identifying and describing similarities and differences in State SNAP and Medicaid applications; and (5) using information collected from Objectives 1-4 to develop a Best Practices Guide that explains how States can better improve coordination between SNAP and Medicaid.
Opportunity for United States Grain Standards Act (USGSA) Designation in the Texas Central Area
The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is seeking persons or governmental agencies interested in providing official services in the area noted below to submit an application for designation. Designation provides for private entities or state governmental agencies to be an integral part of the official grain inspection system (https:// www.ams.usda.gov/services/fgis/official-grain-inspection-weig hing- system). Designated agencies work under the supervision of the Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) and are authorized to provide official inspection and/or weighing services in a defined geographical area. In addition, AMS requests comments on the USGSA service need in this area. AMS encourages submissions from traditionally underrepresented individuals, organizations, and businesses to reflect the diversity of this industry.
